About this Role

We are looking to appoint a permanent Senior Attendance Officer – Family Outreach Worker for 37  hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at Liberty Academy.

As a Senior Attendance Officer, you will play a vital role in improving pupils’ life chances by promoting excellent attendance and working closely with students, families, and staff. The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Attendance Policy and improving the attendance of students. Works with identified students and their parents / carers whose attendance is a barrier to their performance.  Responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on attendance data.

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time Only

Line Manager: Assistant Vice Principal

Travel Required: Driving licence and requirement to travel is essential in order to undertake home visits
