Literacy Champion & Library Leader
The Stockwood Park Academy are
looking for a hands-on, proactive and inspirational individual to join us a
Literacy Champion and Library Leader.
Our Learning Resources Centre (Library) is home to all our information
sources which we encourage students to access via both traditional and modern
methods. We are looking for someone
committed to promoting the active use of the Learning Resource Centre for all
groups of students as a key curriculum resource and someone who will develop
and teach library skills to our youngest members of the student body. In addition, you will lead as a Key Stage 3
Literacy Champion, planning and delivering reading programmes and supporting
the English Faculty in delivering Sparx Reader, which will advance our
learners’ skills and increase their appetite and pleasure for literature.
