Curriculum Lead of Drama
The
Chalk Hills Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Lead of Drama
to lead and manage staff to construct and deliver an ambitious curriculum that
supports all students to achieve exceptional outcomes. The successful candidate will be an experienced /
aspirational professional, who is enthusiastic, influential and committed to
working in pursuit of success for the academy and its learners.

Key Duties
·
To play an active
role in curriculum planning and delivery
·
Be accountable for
the learning and achievement of all students across
Drama
·
Have responsibility for
the pastoral care of an identified tutor group.
·
Promote
the educational success and outstanding outcomes of all our students through
strong leadership
·
Implement school policies
and procedures as appropriate in day-to-day activities.
The successful candidate will
·
Teacher of Drama who can
teach at both KS4 KS5 and overview of curriculum
·
Have experience of
planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for identified groups
of students at Key Stage 4 and 5.
·
Have experience of
Edexcel specification - desirable but not essential
·
Be an experienced leader who can manage staff
and support colleagues to achieve targets set.
·
Ensure student
achievement is at least in line with expectations.
·
Be accountable for
progress and achievement of students.
·
Have
experience of a large multicultural school
·
Be
committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young
people
· Have excellent communication skills and enthuse staff and implement ideas
Job specifics
Start date 1st September
Salary AST
1-12 (dependent on experience) plus Curriculum Lead allowance £5,873
Job Role Full time, Permanent
