About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and talented Intervention Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community. This is a part time (3 days per week), (September 2026 – March 2027) and is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to pupils' progress by delivering targeted interventions and tailored support to individuals and small groups across primary Key Stage 2.  The successful candidate will be passionate about helping every child achieve their potential, have high expectations for learning and behaviour and be committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences. Working closely with school leaders, you will play a key role in supporting pupil achievement, raising attainment and ensuring pupils receive consistent, effective teaching and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued
  • Inspire pupils to develop a lifelong love of learning
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching practices

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
  • Has a degree-level qualification
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent teaching practice
  • Is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all children

  • Brings creativity, initiative and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate pupils
  • Builds positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
