About this Role

About the Role

The Governors of The Bellbird Primary School are excited to offer an opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic, and highly motivated teacher to join our warm and welcoming team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled and reflective practitioner who is passionate about inspiring children and helping them achieve their full potential. You will be part of a nurturing school environment where staff collaboration, high expectations, and inclusive practice are central to our ethos.

This opportunity is open to Eearly Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced teachers.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Leads by example, with high aspirations for all pupils and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
  • Uses positive behaviour strategies and builds strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
  • Has a sound understanding of SEND and adapts teaching to meet the needs of every learner.
  • Communicates effectively with pupils, colleagues, and the wider school community.
  • Contributes positively to a team culture built on trust, respect, and shared goals.
  • Embraces the values and vision of The Bellbird Primary School, with a genuine passion for child development and wellbeing.

We encourage visits to the school so you can experience our friendly and purposeful atmosphere first-hand. To arrange an appointment, please contact the school office on 01223 833216 or email office@thebellbird.cambs.sch.uk.

The Bellbird Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

In line with the “Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022” guidance, an online search will be conducted as part of the safer recruitment process for shortlisted candidates. This is to assess suitability and ensure there is nothing that would pose a risk to the school community.

We celebrate diversity and are proud to be an inclusive employer. We strive to reflect the community we serve and warmly welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds
