Join Brampton Village Primary School — Main Pay Range 'EYFS' Teacher

Are you a passionate, reflective teacher who wants to make a measurable difference in pupils’ lives? Join a warm, inclusive 3‑form entry primary school in Brampton, Huntingdon, where staff work collaboratively to inspire curiosity, resilience and a lifelong love of learning. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school that values every member of its community and is committed to raising attainment through high‑quality teaching.

About the school

Brampton Village Primary School is a friendly community school with a pre‑school class, located in the heart of Brampton, Cambridgeshire. Our community is diverse and caring: around 15% of pupils speak English as an additional language, 27% are eligible for pupil premium, 12% have SEND and 5% are from service families.

Our vision is to provide a safe, inclusive and joyful environment where everyone is valued, supported and inspired to unlock their full potential. We nurture pride, excellence and a love of learning through meaningful experiences and holistic development. Our school values — the 6R’s of respect, responsibility, resilience, reflectiveness, reciprocity and resourcefulness — underpin our everyday practice and relationships.

We are focused on raising achievement, improving teaching consistency and making the best use of resources so that every pupil thrives academically and socially.

About the role

As a Main Pay Range Teacher at Brampton Village you will:

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons and sequences of learning that contribute to pupils’ progress and outcomes.

  • Set and mark meaningful work, including preparation for any external assessments where appropriate.
  • Contribute to whole‑school development by working collaboratively on curriculum planning, policies and school priorities.
  • Promote pupil safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour in line with our safeguarding and behaviour policies.
  • Direct and supervise support staff where applicable and contribute to professional development activities across the school.
