About the role
About the
role
Are you
looking to work at a forward thinking school where everyone is seen as a
learner?
Are you
motivated to develop professionally and personally?
A rare and
fantastic opportunity has arisen at Shephalbury Park to join our committed, and
friendly team. We are looking for a committed individual to work as a teaching
assistant supporting learners in our school. You will have responsibility
within the classroom. This role will be well supported and highly rewarding.
The role is
envisaged as full time, involving possible 1 to 1 support.
We are
incredibly proud of our Ofsted inspection (October 2022), which recognises the
good and outstanding provision that our whole learning community has
contributed to creating over the last few years.
Our
Shephalbury LEARNER attributes are at the heart of everything we do. As part of
our learning community, you would harness those high aspirations for all.
We take the
mental and physical well-being of our learners, staff and wider community very
seriously, and are constantly developing and implementing new ideas to support
the well-being of our entire learning community.
We are a
popular one form entry school with many fantastic facilities. We have enviable
grounds, a library, computing suite, and many other excellent resources to
support high quality teaching and learning.
We are
looking for someone who is committed to supporting our learners and their own
self development. We want you to have a genuine commitment to help our learning
community aspire and achieve; you should also have strong literacy, numeracy
and interpersonal skills.
We are
committed to providing a happy, safe, fun and secure environment in which every
member of our learning community - learners, staff, parents and governors -
feel valued and can flourish.
If the
sound of this job excites and inspires you, then we would be delighted to
welcome you to visit and see our fantastic school for yourself, to let our
Shephalbury learners, staff and facilities speak for themselves. We look
forward to meeting you!
Our school
is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders
are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
check. The school also promotes the welfare of children and expects
all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The
recruitment process will select candidates for interview based on their
suitability to the job description and person specification.
We reserve the right to interview and appoint candidates before the
advertised closing date.
