About this Role

Experienced, qualified primary teacher for KS1.

About the role

Are you looking to work at a forward thinking school where everyone is seen as a learner?

Are you motivated to develop as a teacher, leader and team member?

A rare and fantastic opportunity has arisen at Shephalbury Park Primary School to join our committed, and friendly team to support our learners as a class teacher in KS1.  This is envisaged as a full time, permanent position for an experienced teacher with knowledge of subject leadership across the age phases in primary.

Our Shephalbury LEARNER attributes are at the heart of the learning and attitudes that we see every day from our staff and learners across the school. As a member of our learning community, we would expect that you would buy into our high aspirations for all.

We take the mental and physical well-being of our learners, staff and wider community very seriously, and are constantly developing and implementing new ideas to support the well-being of our entire learning community.

We are a popular one form entry school with many fantastic facilities. We have enviable grounds, a well-stocked library, computing suite, and high-quality curriculum resources to support our teaching and learning.

We are looking for someone who is committed to our learners and their own self development. We want you to have a genuine commitment to help our learning community aspire and achieve; you should also have strong literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills.

We are committed to providing a happy, safe, fun and secure environment in which every member of our learning community - learners, staff, parents and governors - feel valued and can flourish.

If the sound of this job excites and inspires you, then we would be delighted to welcome you to visit and see our fantastic school for yourself, to let our Shephalbury learners, staff and facilities speak for themselves. We look forward to meeting you.

Our school is committed to safeguarding children and young people.  All post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The school also promotes the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The recruitment process will select candidates for interview based on their suitability to the job description and person specification. We promote ethical leadership principles in all decision making.
