As Head of Drama, you will have the opportunity to lead the next stage of the department's development. Weare seeking someone who is excited by the prospect of reviewing and enhancing the curriculum, developing a compelling vision for Drama, and building a thriving culture of performance and participation that places the subject at the heart of school life.

They will be able to inspire students across all key stages and create a curriculum that develops both artistic excellence and a lifelong appreciation of the performing arts.

We are looking for a leader who will:

Lead with energy, enthusiasm and a relentless commitment to improvement.

This role offers genuine scope to make your mark. We are seeking someone who is not simply looking to maintain an established provision, but who is excited by the opportunity to shape, influence and grow the department. You will be supported by a leadership team that values creativity, innovation and the important role that the arts play in a broad and ambitious education. The successful candidate will be a reflective and inspiring leader with a strong subject background, a track record of securing positive outcomes for students, and the vision and determination to establish Drama as a vibrant and integral part of academy life.
