We are seeking an outstanding Head of Humanities (Geography Specialism) who will bring vision, energy, and expertise to lead the department. About the Role

As Head of Humanities, you will:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing Humanities department (including Geography, History, and related subjects)

  • Champion excellence in teaching, curriculum design, and student outcomes

  • Inspire and support staff through strong leadership and professional development

  • Develop an engaging and ambitious Geography curriculum that fosters curiosity about the world

  • Monitor progress and implement strategies to ensure all students achieve their full potential


    About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a passionate and knowledgeable Geography specialist

  • Has proven leadership experience or is ready to step into a leadership role

  • Demonstrates a track record of strong student outcomes

  • Is innovative, forward-thinking, and committed to continuous improvement
