Ramridge Primary School, "Where Each Child Shines", is a Values accredited school which has a positive and welcoming environment and was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in its last inspection (April 2022).

We are looking to recruit a passionate and committed Family Worker to join our friendly school team.

The hours are 8.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 8.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. on a Friday, term time only.  As part of professional development there will be a requirement to attend occasional training days and other training as appropriate.

As a Family Worker, the successful candidate will work closely with parent, carers and children to help overcome any barriers they are facing, whether inside or outside school. This will involve maintaining regular communication, putting interventions in place, and liaising with relevant staff and professionals to ensure parents and carers are consistently engaged in pupils’ development and progress and pupils’ wellbeing is supported.  Part of this work will involve planning, supporting and leading family faced activities, in addition to working directly with our children.
