St Mark’s Academy is offering an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring or experienced middle leader to lead a revived Design Technology department, within our transformational community. Working alongside a highly supportive senior leadership team, the Head of DT will be instrumental in creating and delivering an exciting DT offer, with rotation of product design, textiles and/or food.
Rarely does such an opportunity arise for an aspirational experienced lead teacher to develop a highly sought after department and curriculum model, adding immediate impact to the whole school strategy. The post will commence in September 2026.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced SLT and the privilege of inspiring specialist teachers within the team.
