As a school committed to excellence, we are looking for passionate and dedicated graduates to join our Graduate Apprentice Teacher Programme.
We are seeking highly motivated graduates who are eager to launch their careers in education. This is an alternative route to traditional initial teacher training, and offers a postgraduate-level qualification (PGCE) leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). There are no tuition fees, and it provides the opportunity to earn while you learn.
As a teacher apprentice at Oaks Park High School, you will work closely with our dedicated teams to create engaging lesson plans, develop assessment strategies, and build positive relationships with students. You will have the opportunity to observe and participate in classroom instruction from day one, as well as receive valuable feedback and support from our team of experienced educators.
In addition to school based training you will undertake a range of professional studies and assessments with our ITT provider. The majority of this training will be delivered online, you will not be required to regularly be away from school to attend university lectures. In school, you will put into practice straightaway the learning from online teaching, materials, webinars and live tutorials. You will be part of a cohort of fellow trainee teachers, with whom you will share experiences and learning online each week.
