Teacher of the Deaf

We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Teacher of the Deaf to provide specialist teaching support to students within the deaf provision. The ideal candidate will advise visiting professionals involved with deaf students on the educational implications of deafness and the promotion of language (spoken & signed), communication and literacy skills in deaf children in order to maximise curriculum access.
You will work closely with our SENCO and Deaf Provision Manager to ensure we are setting high expectations for teaching and learning for Deaf learners and monitoring their achievement.

Location: The school is centrally located in the London Borough of Redbridge. There are excellent transport links to central and outer London, with Newbury Park station (zone 4 on the Central Line) only a four minute walk away.
