About this Role

Harborne Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive and ambitious school operating across two sites – Station Road and Court Oak Road – and serving 808 wonderful pupils. We are in an exciting transitional period as we continue to strengthen our vision, provision and leadership structures. About the Role

As Head of Year, you will:

  • Lead a team of Form Tutors to support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
  • Promote excellent attendance, punctuality and behaviour
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external agencies
  • Monitor pupils progress and implement effective interventions
  • Deliver assemblies and contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Maintain high expectations and foster a positive ethos across the year group
  • Support safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
