About this Role

1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant (15 hours)

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive team to work on either a 1:1 basis, or within a group of children.

Contract:         Part time (fixed term, attached to a child)

Hours:            15 hours a week. Monday- Friday. Term time only.

Salary:          Level 2B point 3-5 ( £8441 - £8943)

Closing date:  12pm on Monday 5th May.

Start:            As soon as possible

 The Role

The successful candidate will be working with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, to help them access the curriculum and thrive and learn in line with their Education, Health Care Plans (EHCP). We need a classroom practitioner who will bring their experience, passion for learning and energy to our talented team. They will have the ability to assist and work under the direction of the class teacher. They will be able to support and aid the learning of pupils through clarifying and explaining instructions, ensuring the use of equipment and materials and to provide continuous encouragement and motivation.
