About this Role

Hours: 22 Hours 30 minutes per week, Term time only plus 3 weeks (Monday to Friday 7.15am – 9am and 3.15pm – 6.15pm although exact hours could be negotiated)

 

Salary: Hay 11 (£13,631 - £13,847 per annum)

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working         person for the role of caretaker / handyperson.

 

We are looking for someone who:

·        Is a hardworking and positive individual.

·        Is committed to ensuring the building and grounds are safe and secure and to meet with contractors.

·        Can carry out health and safety checks and record these appropriately.

·        Has good DIY skills and is able to undertake basic handyperson repairs and maintenance or contact the appropriate contractors when necessary.

·        Is able to work as part of a team and supervise the cleaning staff.

·        Clean areas of the school when necessary.

·        Be prepared to undertake any necessary training.

·        Be flexible and willing to lock and unlock the school outside of normal school hours and respond to alarm call outs. 

·        Is able to develop excellent relationships with children, staff and parents and act as a role model in line with our school values.
