Role: Head of Learning English Teacher

Remuneration: MPS/ UPS & TLR 2c

Status: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom teacher to join the pastoral team as Head of Learning at The Excelsior Academy.


The Head of Learning’s main purpose is;

  • ensure high standards of social, personal and academic development for all students

  • agree support and interventions; addressing the needs of students in your year group

  • To be accountable for the progress and attainment of all students and groups of students within the year group to overcome barriers to learning

  • ensure high standards of learning, behaviour and appearance for all students in a given cohort.


The successful candidate will be organised, friendly and possess a positive work ethic.
