We are seeking a passionate and organised Librarian to manage and develop our newly renovated library. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting reading, supporting teaching and learning, and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all students and staff.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

  1. A genuine passion for reading, literacy, and lifelong learning

  2. Excellent organisational and cataloguing skills

  3. Strong communication skills with students, staff, and visitors

  4. A calm, approachable, and supportive manner

  5. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  6. Confidence using library management systems and digital resources

  7. Initiative and creativity in promoting reading and learning activities

  8. A commitment to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding practices.
