About this Role
In this pivotal role, you will provide practical advice on governance best practice and regulatory requirements. You will support the development of governance policies and processes, including digital systems and stakeholder engagement.
You will manage statutory compliance, coordinate Corporation and Committee meetings, support the recruitment and induction of governors, and provide high-quality administrative support to ensure governance operations run smoothly.
You will be asked to attend around 10 on-site meetings each year, with the flexibility to prepare and complete follow-up work remotely. We offer flexible working hours and hybrid working to help you balance your role alongside other commitments.
About You
Proven experience of working in
governance within an education, public sector or other regulated environment.
A strong understanding of
governance frameworks, compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
The ability to provide clear,
impartial and professional advice to senior leaders and governing boards.
