About this Role
In this role, you will support students both one-to-one and in small groups to help them stay on track with their learning, grow in confidence, and overcome any challenges they face. You will work closely with Student Officers, parents, and external agencies to make sure any welfare or safeguarding concerns are identified early, and the right support is provided. Using ProMonitor to track progress, you will put timely support in place to help students achieve and move forward successfully. You will also help learners develop important personal, academic, and work-related skills through workshops, activities, and opportunities on and off site. Throughout their programme, you will encourage students to reflect on their progress, recognise their strengths, and feel confident about their next steps.
About You
- You will have considerable experience of working with young people in further education.
- Experience of coaching or mentoring
- Experience of facilitating group sessions
- Maths and English at level 2 (or equivalent)
