About this Role

We are recruiting hairdressing professionals to join our Hair and Beauty team and welcome applications from both experienced, qualified lecturers or industry specialists looking to move into teaching.

This is an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of professionals. As a Lecturer/Associate Lecturer in Hairdressing at Gloucestershire College, you will teach Level 1–3 learners through a combination of practical sessions, live salon work with clients, and theory lessons in our professional training salons.

You will support students to develop their technical skills, confidence and industry knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the hair and beauty industry. If you do not already hold a teaching qualification, full support will be provided to gain one.

We currently have two positions available.  1 based at Gloucester/Cinderford campuses and the other at Gloucester/Cheltenham campuses.

About You:

  • Recent industry experience in the hair sector.  
  • Qualified to Level 3 Hair  
  • Assessors’ Award (or willingness to complete) 
  • PGCE or DTTLS or Certificate in Education (or willingness to complete)
