About this Role

The ideal candidate will prepare materials for practical classes, demonstrations, and examinations, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labelled and ready for use. You will monitor stock levels regularly, completing internal requisitions to maintain adequate supplies. Additionally, you will receive and inspect new deliveries to ensure materials arrive in good condition.

This role will ensure the safe custody of equipment and consumables within the science faculty as well as identifying equipment for maintenance and repair. Additionally, you will source materials which are not readily available or require special handling, and purchase goods from external sources whilst being mindful to minimise expenditure to the college.
