About this Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic School Liaison and Events Officer to join Joseph Chamberlain College. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent communication and administrative skills to work closely with the Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment, the Marketing and Admissions teams to ensure an effective and positive experience for prospective students and applicants.

As part of this role, you will be expected to coordinate and deliver school liaison activities and support college events associated with student recruitment. This includes implementing an effective programme of school liaison to support the recruitment strategy, developing strong relationships with local secondary schools and providing professional communications and facilitating advice on progression to Sixth Form.

This role involves travelling to local schools to represent and be an ambassador of the College at student recruitment events. There may be some work out of hours to support the needs, which will be agreed by the line manager.

You would play a vital role in the College, which is graded as ‘outstanding’ in all categories by Ofsted. Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive and high-quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector.  In 2023, students at Joseph Chamberlain College achieved outstanding exam results.
