About the Role

As Principal, you will lead the school with a clear vision centred on inclusion, high expectations, and meaningful learning.

You will:

• Create a culture where every learner feels safe, valued, and understood
• Ensure learning is engaging, purposeful, and tailored to individual needs
• Lead a curriculum approach that is flexible, active, and connected to real life
• Embed foundational skills across the school day through meaningful experiences and not just classroom-based learning
• Ensure learners are prepared for their next steps, independence, and future pathways
• Drive high standards in behaviour, safeguarding, and teaching and learning
• Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community

This is a role for a leader who understands that success looks different for every learner and is committed to helping each one achieve it.

Leading & Developing Staff

You will lead and support a committed staff team, ensuring they feel confident, valued, and equipped to succeed.

You will:

• Develop a strong, supportive, and accountable staff culture
• Coach and develop leaders and teachers to deliver high-quality, adaptive practice
• Promote reflective practice, continuous improvement, and professional growth
• Ensure staff wellbeing is prioritised alongside high expectations
