St Dominic’s Priory School are looking to welcome a school cleaner into our rapidly expanding school. This role is currently based in the school office area with occasional duties in the main school buildings to cover absence.
The School Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and
welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors. This position is
responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks within school office areas,
including dusting, vacuuming, sanitising surfaces, emptying waste bins, and
ensuring toilets and common areas are kept tidy and hygienic.
Attention to detail is essential in this role, as small oversights—such
as missed surfaces, improperly sanitised areas, or overlooked clutter—can
impact health, safety, and the professional appearance of the school. The
cleaner must be thorough, reliable, and proactive in identifying areas that
require extra care, ensuring all cleaning standards are consistently met or
exceeded. By maintaining a well-organised and spotless office environment, the
School Office Cleaner supports the smooth operation of the school and
contributes to a positive and productive atmosphere for everyone.

Hours: 10 hours per week (2 hours per day) either 6-8 am or 5.30-7.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.81 per hour Term Time Only: 36 weeks per year
Annual salary: £5,764.50
