About You The successful candidates will be flexible, tenacious, and willing to go the 'extra mile' for our pupils. You should possess:

  • The ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.

  • An understanding of the teaching of phonics.

  • An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and communicating concerns effectively.

  • A first aid qualification is highly desired.

What We Can Offer You We are proud to be a real Living Wage Employer, voluntarily choosing to pay a rate based on the actual cost of living. In addition to working in beautiful surroundings within a friendly and supportive environment, we offer:

  • A commitment to professional development and career progression.

  • Free parking and a free meal.

  • A Christmas closure week.

  • Enrolment into a pension scheme.

  • Access to on-site facilities, including our gym, swimming pool, and exercise classes.

  • Uniforms provided if required.

Safeguarding Denstone College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all our staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and pre-employment checks.
