About this Role
Radley College is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our Maintenance team. Working across our extensive school estate, you will carry out a variety of internal and external decorating projects, along with general maintenance tasks, helping to maintain a safe, attractive and welcoming environment.
The successful candidate will have proven painting and decorating experience, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and build positive relationships with colleagues, staff and pupils.
You will be reliable, professional and adaptable, with a strong focus on customer service, health and safety, and supporting others, including apprentices when required.
This is a physically active role involving manual work and working at height.
Experience in an educational setting, knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes, relevant access equipment qualifications, and previous mentoring or supervisory experience is desirable.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 0800 to 1630, Monday to Friday.
