About this Role

Radley College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Gardener to join our dedicated horticultural team. Set within 800 acres of historic and beautifully maintained grounds, originally influenced by Capability Brown, this is a unique opportunity to help shape and care for an exceptional landscape.

This is a hands-on role within a dedicated team, where you will maintain high standards across lawns, borders, trees and landscaped areas, while also taking responsibility for a defined section of the campus. Duties include planting, pruning, lawn care and general upkeep, alongside supporting colleagues and ensuring work is carried out safely and to an excellent finish.

We are seeking someone with a horticultural qualification (RHS/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), strong plant knowledge and a proactive, can-do attitude. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail and pride in your work.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, generous holidays, free meals during term time and access to excellent on-site facilities, along with opportunities for training and career progression.

Closing date for applications is 12 noon, Thursday 2 July. Radley College reserves the right to review applications as they are received.
