As part of this journey, we are redesigning our curriculum to ensure that every student benefits from engaging, meaningful and enriching learning experiences that develop creativity, confidence and cultural capital. Geography plays a vital role in this vision.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Geography who believes passionately in the power of the performing arts to transform young people’s lives. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative practitioner to shape drama within the school and to lead engaging productions, performances and showcase events that celebrate student talent and ambition.

 The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 and 5.
  • Passion and dedication in delivering high standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing redesign and development of an enriching Geography curriculum.
  • Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and clubs.

We Are Looking For a Teacher Who:

  • Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage young people through Geography.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Is enthusiastic about contributing to curriculum innovation and whole-school improvement.
  • Enjoys building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Is eager to be involved in the wider life of the school community.

Applications are welcomed from ECTs and experienced teachers. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are excited by the opportunity to help shape a subject and contribute to a school on an upward and ambitious journey.

In Return, We Offer:

  • A supportive school under new leadership, with a clear vision and high aspirations.
  • A collaborative and welcoming staff team.
  • Excellent professional development opportunities.
  • A well-resourced Geography department.
  • Engaged, friendly students who enjoy learning and rising to challenges.

Prospective candidates are warmly encouraged to visit the school.
