We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics to join our established and committed Mathematics team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who is passionate about Mathematics and ready to develop their leadership skills, supporting the strategic direction of the faculty alongside the Head of Mathematics.

The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and transform young people’s lives through a genuine love of Mathematics, both within and beyond the classroom. You will be enthusiastic about enriching learning through extra-curricular activities, clubs, competitions and wider opportunities, igniting student’s passion to see the relevance, beauty and power of Mathematics in the real world.

The Role

You will:

        Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 (and 5 but not essential , delivering consistently high-quality teaching and learning.

        Play a key role in raising standards of attainment and progress across the Mathematics curriculum.

        Contribute to the ongoing curriculum redesign, ensuring challenge, coherence and engagement for all learners.

        Inspire a love of learning in Mathematics through innovative teaching and enrichment opportunities.

        Engage positively in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular provision.

 

The ideal candidate will:

        Have a thorough and secure knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum.

        Demonstrate excellent experience across Key Stages 3, 4 (and 5 but not essential).

        Show passion, determination and high expectations for all students.

        Have experience of planning and delivering a challenging and engaging curriculum.

        Be an excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.

        Have a genuine desire to make a positive and lasting impact on students’ lives.
