About this Role

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is confident in supervising and providing tailored support for pupils, including those with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Can collaborate with teachers to implement strategies and resources that support pupils in achieving their learning goals.
  • Is capable of delivering structured learning activities and teaching programmes, adapting them based on pupil responses.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of various behaviour management strategies to maintain consistent boundaries for our pupils.
  • Can provide the necessary pastoral care to help children feel secure and happy in their school environment.
  • Is able to administer routine assessments and assist with the marking of pupils’ work.
  • Can offer clerical and administrative support, such as photocopying, typing, filing, and managing coursework.
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for their role, taking pride in their contributions to the school community.
  • Works collaboratively within a team, embracing opportunities for shared learning and promoting excellence throughout the school.
  • Is motivated to strive for their best and inspire others to do the same.
  • Can maintain positive relationships with parents and multi-agency networks to support every pupil in reaching their full potential.
  • Is committed to embedding excellence, inclusion, and challenge at the core of our educational practises.
  • Can work in line with statutory safeguarding guidance (e.g. Keeping Children Safe in Education, Prevent) and our safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Can promote the safeguarding of all pupils in the school.
