About this Role

Tiffield CEVA Primary School have a vacancy for a School Administrator. The role is a varied and busy one running the school office. The school office is the engine room of the school which means you are often wearing many hats and juggling lots of jobs at once. One minute you could be dealing with a parent, answering the phone and door, helping a member of staff, completing a statutory return, raising an invoice and to top it all a child has been sent into your office and is about to vomit on your floor. You remain calm and professional under pressure, smile and prioritise instead of collapsing in a heap. Do not be fooled that the job is easy as at times it can be challenging but is enjoyable.

You will need to have had previous admin experience. Full support and training will be given however, you will need to use your own initative and be a good problem solver. Tiffield CEVA Primary is part of the Forest CE Federation which incorporates Whittlebury, Stoke Bruerne, Gayton & Yardley Gobion primary schools. Staff from across the federation work closely together and support each other, so you are never completely on your own. Tiffield CEVA Primary is a small village school with 36 children on roll taught over 2 classes. The team is a close and friendly team with everyone taking part in the running of the school to ensure excellent education for all pupils.

Hours of work are 8.45 am to 3.45 pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year (term time only). The successful candidate will need to be flexible at times. The full time salary is £25,185 with the actual estimated salary being £17,110 per annum.
