Whittlebury CE Primary is searching for an inspirational and
committed teacher to join our supportive and friendly team. The role is for a
permanent full time position teaching Class 3, a mixed age class comprising of Year 5 & Year 6 children. The school currently has 73 children on roll
taught over 3 classes. You will find our children eager to learn with excellent
behaviours to learning. We teach a creative curriculum to inspire and spark
curiosity to ensure our children are lifeline learners. Throughout the day/week
we use a Continuous Provision approach to give pupils access to a variety
of activities. We believe that we offer a first class education to ensure all
children reach or exceed their full potential.
The ideal candidate must have KS2 experience with a deep
understanding of childhood development. We will not consider applications
from Early Careers Teachers, however if you are a qualified teacher with the
relevant experience and in your early years of teaching and want to grow and
develop in a supportive federation then this may be a role for you to consider.
We are looking for a teacher who will create a vibrant,
inspiring and engaging classroom environment to promote and support pupil's
academic, emotional and social development and foster a positive and respectful
atmosphere by promoting excellent behaviours.
We use our setting and environment to its full potential and
actively encourage outdoor learning. We are passionate in our belief that every child deserves an excellent education in a safe, happy and supportive environment. Children are treated and taught as individuals to enable them to flourish and grow and be ready for their transition into Secondary Education. We foster good relationships with our stakeholders and work closely with them to support our children. Whittlebury is part of the
Forest CE Federation which includes Tiffield, Yardley Gobion, Stoke Bruerne &
Gayton Primary Schools. The federation is forward thinking, supportive
and fun and is a great place to work. Teachers across the federation plan
together and lead their own specific subjects. This enable the workload to be
spread and creates a supportive environment with a good work/life balance.
Every member of staff is valued and respected. Whittlebury is a unique
village primary school within an exciting and unique federation. Each and every
staff member is proud to be part of their own small team as well as the larger
federation team. Professional development is actively encouraged. The
federation will offer you excellent support with your progression.

children. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure
and must have suitable references.
