About this Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead the
development, presentation, and ongoing excellence of Bootham School’s sports
grounds and outdoor spaces. As Head Groundsperson, you will take full
responsibility for maintaining and enhancing pitches, facilities, and
landscaped areas across both senior and junior sites, ensuring they are always
presented to the highest professional standards. Alongside hands-on grounds management, you will oversee the safe operation and
maintenance of specialist equipment and vehicles, and manage external
contractors to achieve outstanding results, making this a dynamic role that
blends practical expertise with strategic leadership.
