St
Andrew’s School is a small independent school (up to 60 students) which caters
for students aged 6 to 16 years with social and communication difficulties and specialises in working with
students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (high functioning).
We
currently have a vacancy for a fulltime Teacher to join our committed and
hardworking staff team as soon as possible on a permanent basis.
You
will need to have experience of teaching a core subject at KS3/4 but may also
be expected to teach lessons for other subjects (to be discussed at interview).
We
are looking for someone who:

provide high quality, challenging and differentiated lessons
·Possesses
good organisational skills and has high standards
·Can
be adaptable, resourceful and use their own initiative as well as provide
support to other Teachers and Teaching Assistants
·Has
the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms
·Has
previous experience of working with young people with SEN
