Pastoral / Academic Support Coordinator
April 2026 start date. Term time only, 37 hours per week. Salary: Grade 5 or 6 depending on experience: £25,252 - £27,713 FTE.
We are looking for a skilled, empathetic, and proactive Alternative Provision Pastoral Support Coordinator to support students experiencing social, emotional, and regulation barriers to join our small, yet experienced and committed ENGAGE team.
This role is central to helping young people who may struggle with
emotional dysregulation, anxiety, trauma responses, or behavioural challenges.
You will provide targeted pastoral support, promote self-regulation strategies,
and help students develop the skills needed to engage positively with learning
and relationships.

All positions that involve working with children in regulated
activity are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
1974. All applicants must therefore
declare all previous convictions and cautions, including those which would
normally be considered ‘spent’ except those received for an offence committed
in the United Kingdom if it has been filtered in accordance with the DBS
filtering rules. Candidates
