We are seeking a creative and caring practitioner to lead our passionate team. We have excellent resources and a forward-thinking ethos, with the aim for all students to achieve the highest standards. This is delivered from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5.
We are looking for a person to take on this exciting role who can demonstrate established teaching experience with strong leadership skills, the ability to set high expectations for both students and staff, capacity to work collaboratively and lead a team, a secure knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy, who can innovatively move the team forward and a passion for 'going beyond' in developing staff and wider school improvement priorities.
This is an exciting time for the subject team, with funding and planning permission approved for a new multi-million-pound teaching block that includes dedicated Design Technology and Food Technology facilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the Leadership Team on shaping the internal design of this new space.
This position has a start date of September 2026 or sooner with a salary of M1-UPS3 (£32,916 - £51,048) Plus TLR 1b £12,516, dependent on experience.
