About this Role

Compass Federation is seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic full-time Teacher to join the team at St Paul’s Church of England Primary School.

St Paul’s is a distinctive and much-loved village Church school rooted in the Christian vision of “Life in all its fullness” (John 10:10). With 107 pupils across four mixed-age classes, we are proud of our caring ethos, close community links and commitment to ensuring every child flourishes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and forward-thinking team in a school that values innovation, relationships and high-quality teaching.

A key feature of the school is our creative use of Continuous Provision from Reception through to Year 4, enabling children to learn through exploration, independence and purposeful play. We also offer Forest School, enriching curriculum experiences and strong partnerships with families, the parish church and wider community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent teacher with high aspirations for all pupils
  • Creates engaging and inspiring learning experiences
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Embraces innovative approaches to teaching and learning
  • Works collaboratively as part of a strong team
  • Shares our Christian values and commitment to inclusion

In return, we offer:

  • The chance to teach in a distinctive and nurturing village school
  • Wonderful children who are eager to learn
  • A dedicated, friendly and supportive staff team
  • Professional development opportunities through Compass Federation
  • A creative and innovative curriculum model
  • A positive environment where staff wellbeing is valued

This post would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious early career teacher seeking to develop within a supportive federation.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. To arrange a visit or request further information, please contact the school office or email bhulme@compassfederation.com

Compass Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
