About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive games lessons for KS2 pupils
- Develop pupils’ teamwork, resilience, and core physical skills
- Lead whole-class sessions confidently and independently
- Work collaboratively with an experienced coach to ensure high-quality, consistent provision
- Foster positive attitudes towards sport, participation, and healthy lifestyles
This role is fixed to Mondays and Tuesdays and is not negotiable.
This is a term-time only position.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children (KS2 desirable)
- Holds a relevant sports coaching qualification (e.g. Level 2 or equivalent preferred)
- Is energetic, organised, and able to motivate pupils of all abilities
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Is confident delivering structured, high-quality sessions
- Works well as part of a team and is keen to develop their practice
- Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
