As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils and students aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties, tailoring assistance to their unique needs.
  • Work under the guidance of Class Teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Participate in various school activities, including swimming sessions with pupils at least once a week.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, families, and the local community to support pupil and student development.


Position Details:

  • Contract: 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time (43.6 weeks per annum)
  • Hours: 8:45 to 15:45 pm with a 30-minute lunch break, plus one after-school club per week from 15:30 to 17:15.
