•Establish positive relationships with children within age-appropriate
expectations.
•Good communication with parents.
•Support the Director of Music to monitor and evaluate the children's
instrumental progress.
•Always maintain a tidy workspace and ensure the equipment in it is in
good order. Order new equipment with the agreement of the Director of Music.
•Always support the school’s commitment on safeguarding children in all
aspects of the provision including their health and safety and paying due
regard to relevant risk assessments.
•Be proactive in the continuation of your own training opportunities and
performance development to improve the outcomes for children.
•Have a clear knowledge of and adhere to all Health and Safety
Regulations.
•Adhere to all school policies. (DBS & pass to be worn visibly at all times
on site)
•Be able to role model high standards in all aspects of the role and
personal conduct including professional dress code.
•To agree to leave mobile
phones and other electronic devices in
the agreed designated areas away from children whilst on site.
All Teachers are also expected to
carry out any reasonable additional duties as requested by the Senior
Leadership Team.
