Habs Girls School is seeking a creative, enthusiastic and organised Library Assistant to support the Senior Librarian in developing and promoting our vibrant school libraries.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about books, reading and working with young people, and who brings the creativity and marketing flair needed to inspire a love of reading across the school community. We are looking for an individual who can help ensure our libraries are not only excellent learning environments, but also dynamic, engaging spaces that capture students' imagination and encourage lifelong reading habits.
Working closely with the Senior Librarian, you will support the day-to-day running of the libraries while taking an active role in promoting library resources, reading initiatives and events to students and staff.
You will help create an exciting and welcoming library experience through imaginative displays, engaging communications and innovative activities that encourage students to discover new books, authors and resources.

Hours: This is a term-time only position working 19 hours per week. Working hours can be arranged flexibly within the school day (8.15am–5.15pm), although occasional flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the school.
