The Role

As our Year 1 Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest pupils as they transition from the Early Years into Key Stage 1.

You will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Foster high expectations for both achievement and behaviour.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and support staff to provide an outstanding educational experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher with experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 or Early Years.
• Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge.
• Can inspire curiosity, confidence and independence in learners.
• Builds positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Brings energy, warmth and enthusiasm to school life.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
