Are you a passionate musician with a gift for inspiring the next generation? We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our outstanding team at our Pre Prep and Prep School, Cadogan House.
About Us - RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with circa 900 pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 250 teaching and support staff. We are situated on a beautiful 300-acre parkland estate near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire.

The Role - Music is a thriving and important subject both within and outside the curriculum at The Royal Masonic School for Girls.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can inspire students within the classroom and who would be willing to contribute to enriching music activities beyond the classroom. The successful candidates can expect to teach our pupils aged 4 - 11 with a full range of abilities and will lead both vocal and instrumental ensembles.
Strong piano skills are essential for leading assemblies and classroom accompaniment. You will work alongside a dedicated team of Senior School colleagues, as well as Visiting Music Teachers, to create a seamless musical journey for every student, delivering a curriculum that balances ‘stretch and challenge’ with the pure joy of creating music.
Potential candidates must show commitment to self-improvement and commitment to the extracurricular life of the department and of the school. A key requirement of the role will be to successfully support music related clubs, rehearsals, performances and concerts.
