RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with around 900 pupils aged 2 to 19 and 250 teaching and support staff, situated on over 300-acre parkland site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The Deputy Head Pastoral with SENCo responsibilities is a key member of the Prep Leadership Team at Cadogan House (CH), responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and day-to-day management of outstanding pastoral care, behaviour, and special educational needs provision across the school. The post holder will be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) and champion an adaptive and supportive environment where every pupil can thrive.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding individual to assist in the leadership of a highly motivated team in the Pre-Prep and Prep Department, and to work with the wider team in devising and implementing our mission, vision and strategy. The successful candidate will be wholly dedicated and fully involved in the life of this dynamic and inspirational school.
