The post holder will join 5
other SFWs who work across the town in our widely respected team. Each SFW has their own schools to work with
and the team also runs town-wide sessions for staff and parents.
The key roles of the post are
to:
1. Provide targeted support for
children and young people and their families with unmet needs. This can include working with families,
providing intervention programmes, transitional support, targeted support,
facilitating workshops and courses, etc.
2. Liaising with schools pastoral and other support mechanisms and other agencies who work with children and families.
We
seek someone who is flexible and enthusiastic, willing to learn and able to
work individually and as part of a team. We look forward to receiving applications
from people with previous experience of such a role or those who have the
personal skills and a willingness to train and develop new skills. Ongoing
training is provided alongside clinical supervision.
