About this Role

Morgans is a ‘Good School’, Ofsted December 2023.    A clear vision, "Nurturing Life-Long Learning" and a positive ethos and community spirit is promoted by all of the adults around the school.  Our core purpose is to develop children into effective learners who love to learn and are committed to their learning and to provide every child with an outstanding education.

As staff we are driven by a strong moral purpose.  We care about the wellbeing of our pupils and our staff work collaboratively to develop our pedagogy together using our 7 learning powers which are embedded in the curriculum.

We are looking for an excellent, forward looking and inspirational teacher to join our team.  You will have a clear understanding of learning pedagogy and teaching in either (or all) Key Stage 2 and will build on our existing good practice to make learning irresistible, inclusive and effective for the children in our school. The candidate will be calm, caring and supportive of the inclusive ethos of our school.  This post would be suitable for an ECT (a full induction programme will be offered with our ECT provider).

You will need to:

·         be an excellent classroom practitioner

·         have some experience of teaching in the primary range as a qualified teacher or through placements

·         be a reflective professional who inspires children, including them as active learners

·         experience of developing children with SEND

·         have high expectations for standards of achievement, progress and behaviour

·         be an effective team member/leader, organised, hardworking and flexible

·         have a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate

·         be an excellent role model

We can offer:

  • happy, responsive children who love to learn

  • excellent professional development opportunities including coaching as part of our comprehensive cpd programme

  • a caring, committed, collaborative and inclusive ethos

  • the opportunity to develop classroom and leadership responsibilities

  • a committed friendly and supportive staff team

Our staff team are friendly and, together with our Governors, are all dedicated and committed to the continuing success of our school. We believe in creating a learning environment which motivates and stimulates our pupils.
