About this Role

Cradley CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant Level 2. The chosen candidate will work across the school supporting in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The hours of work will be 1 morning and 4 afternoons. There is also the opportunity for 6 extra hours in After-school Club for the Autumn Term.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children who may display challenging behaviour.
  • An empathic, patient and caring approach and the ability to support children struggling with expectations and boundaries and/or academic progress.
  • An understanding of the needs of children who may have social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • A good basic level of education.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
