The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the School, a passion for working with children and high standards of professional practice. This position would suit experienced teachers but is unsuitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT's)

Saint Nicholas is a happy and successful School for around 490 boys and girls aged 2½ -16. The School is situated in attractive grounds in a delightful, rural setting. There is a friendly, supportive atmosphere in the School and working conditions and facilities are excellent. Maximum class size is 20 in the lower school, 22 in the middle and upper schools. The School is located close to London and Cambridge with direct train access to both, as well as being a short drive from Stansted Airport and the London Underground via Epping.

The Position:

This role will include teaching across year groups and subjects in our Primary School, it will also involve 1:1 and group interventions for at least the first year. This is a new position at Saint Nicholas School and the candidate should be flexible to the evolving nature of the role. It is possible that the successful candidate would be responsible for a class later in the year, but this cannot be confirmed at this stage.

Please note this position is not suitable for ECT's but we would consider unqualified teachers will suitable teaching experience in a school.
